New Stuff on The Horizon

Well…ok, so blogging is hard when you’re a lazy person like me! I haven’t been updating as much as I should have. To be honest, I ran into a few image issues and i’m in the process of getting new photo contracts signed and obtaining a new domain name and all that jazz.

I did want to thank those of you that continue checking the blog. I really appreciate it and I’m not worthy! But me (and my stupid humor) will be back online next week with more stupid humor, new photos etc. etc.

Beyonce is Woman of the Year and I Guess The Dream Won’t Be My Man After All

Well looky here…The Queen of Creole Coochie Poppin is back on the grind! Beyonce was in New York this morning accepting the Billboard Woman of the Year Award. She was just performing in Singapore and now she’s back in New York. See, I’m too lazy for that lifestyle. I’d be somewhere sleep if I had just got off the plane! I’ll say something nice first…Nice Dress…Now for how I really feel! Is anyone else a little tired of the Beyonce show? She is everywhere all the time! I would just like a moment to miss her but, I guess you have to get it while the getting’s good. $85 million in one year is just not enough for one person. Bey better stay on the grind or she’ll be broke soon. Wait…I forgot about that $358 million her hubby has sitting in the bank! Yeah, it’s ok to sit down for a minute Beyonce. Absence makes the heart grow fonder!

Well I figured that I’d have to come to terms with the fact that my Terius “The Dream” Nash is off the market. The Dream and Christina Milian were married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on September 4th and rumors were flying that the couple was expecting. Naturally they denied it and you know how I feel about folks lying. Well there’s no denying it anymore! Christina showed up at Tabu in Las Vegas last night and couldn’t hide her baby junk any longer. But seriously, how adorable is Christina?! I think this is going to be one cute baby! Christina is rumored to be about 4 1/2 months along. She and her new hubby are keeping the sex of the baby a secret. For now…

Rihanna Is All Over Fashion Week

Rihanna is becoming quite the fashionista in her young age! She has made the world her personal runway and I can’t say I’m mad at her. If I had a body like that and the hook up to wear these kinds of fits, I’d be all over it and you wouldn’t be able to tell me a gosh darn thang! Some people are wondering when Rih Rih will go from the catwalk to the studio and, I don’t know. I don;t really mind her being seen and not heard. I heart Rihanna, I really do but I think modeling may be her thing. Maybe she could take after Uncle Jay Z and have her own fashion line…shoe line…accessories…something. Maybe her looks at the Maison Martin Margiela and John-Paul Gaultier shows were overly trendy but, I actually think she looks straight fab so I have no shade for her.

I Don’t Know Who Teyana Taylor Is But She Sure Can Dance

I really enjoyed this little video. I honestly don’t know who she is but, I really like the routine. I think it’s really cute. I wish Rihanna could dance like this. I bet Rihanna does too. You can tell Teyana’s been influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson and Beyonce but, I think she’s really talented and for once, i don’t have a bad thing to say. I think I’m getting entirely too nice but, niceties are good for the soul. I guess.

PS You should watch this twice because homeboy is killing it and his moves are not to be missed!

Solange In Honey Magazine

Solange Knowles has been on her “I’m bald headed and proud” tour for a little while now and while I commend her embracing the state she’s in right now, is anyone else getting tired of the hair issue? Chris Rock has the movie out, Solange is bald, Amber Rose is bald…I’m just like ok, who the hell cares how much hair is on your head. Solo is getting more shine over the lack of hair on her head than she did for her CD. I think that says some bad things about the state of the world only, I don’t feel like elaborating on it. She really just talks about how she was tired of being a slave to her hair, how she’s all trendy and stuff and how much she loves her son. Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel Is Phenominal

There are not many artist that will make me download buy their CD the first week of release but, my girl MCC is that chick I like! Mariah’s latest CD “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel” is a stone groove smash hit wonder! I love most of the songs on this CD. I don’t see how or why people say Mariah has “lost it” or can’t get it in like she used to. I’m convinced that if the same people give this CD a chance, they’ll be changing their minds faster than Mariah hits those high notes.

There are tons of in depth reviews on sites like Amazon.com so I’m not covering all of that here. What I really love about this release is that Mariah made the entire CD available for “listen to” on her myspace (www.myspace.com/mariahcarey) and it really helped seal my decision to by the CD. It is the hot shit from beginning to end!

Speaking of the hottest, you have to check out this video for Candy Bling…Which happens to be one of my favorite songs from the CD.

For Those That Forgot Ya Girl Brandy Could Sing…

I hopped on YouTube today to find some…uh…I don’t know, a cure for my boredom maybe and I happened upon this little gem of a video by Brandy. Homegirl is in her bathroom (which looks bigger than my whole house by the way) singing Over the Rainbow. She’s make up free etc etc. but, am I the only one that forgot Brandy could actually sing? I had gotten so fed up with hearing Beyonce’s mouth that I had completely tuned out all female singers. With the exception of my Mariah Carey. I had forgotten about artists such as Brandy, Mary J, Whitney, Monica and the likes. I wish these ladies would get back in the studio immediately. I’m really ready for more real talent in the room. Khloe Kardashian Is Really Getting Married

Dang! Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been dating for about 20 minutes but have apparently decided to tie the knot this weekend. Now you know, somewhere deep down inside, Kimmy is PISSED! That girl put in some long hours with Reggie and still didn’t get a ring. That sucks!

I am actually very happy for Khloe. She is my favorite Kardashian sister. Certainly the most likable and one that I could see myself hanging out with (call me Khlo) so, I really hope Lamar does right by her. We all know Khloe does not play that ish so you hoochies on the west coast better watch out! White girls ain’t scared of sistas no’mo!

There were rumors going around that this wedding is actually a front and that Khloe isn’t getting married at all. Some say Kourtney is really going to marry her greasy BBF (bad boyfriend forevery) Scott and others are saying that it Kim and Reggie really are back together and are getting married on Sunday. I say, why the hell can’t anyone believe someone would marry Khloe!

Anyway, I have some serious doubts about shotgun weddings but, I’m glad Lamar has been listening to Beyonce and decided to put a ring on it. Whoop, pow!

Yo Kanye, I’m really happy for you and I’m gonna let you finish, but Justin Timberlake had one of the best media captured boob grabs of all time!

I had to do it! What else can I say about this pic? Kanye and Amber gave the paps a little freak show in West Hollywood as they waited for valet to bring Kanye’s car around. Kanye told Jay Leno he was going to take some time off to refocus and figure things out. Maybe he’ll be selling kisses at a valet booth near you! That was stupid, but so is Kanye so, we’re even.

I Wish I Was This Fat and Ugly

So Ms. Aubrey O’Day (formerly of the former group Danity Kane) put up a little video of herself in response to some nude pics fat ass Perez Hilton put up of her doing her new nude show. I don’t know what it’s called and I don’t care, I just know she’s nude.

This is where Ms. O’Day confuses me. In the video, she’s complaining that “society” has forced women to put too much focus on their body. Aubrey is now so insecure with her body that she a) had to call in sick to her new nude show because she was too insecure about her body to perform and b) was forced to record a video of herself standing in a dimly lit hotel room, make up free, wearing a pink see through bra.

I see how men are so confused when it comes to women…Aubrey wanted us to focus on her body when she was coochie poppin on stage with Danity Kane & posing naked for Playboy but when she goes to do a live nude show, she doesn’t want us to focus on her body? Or maybe I’ve just got it all wrong.

I guess Aubrey doesn’t see how she’s contributing to societies obsession with women and their bodies or how having her very own jiggy bits hanging out for the world to see would cause some to be jealousinsecure…

I see where Aubrey is going with this. As hot as she is, some folks had the nerve to bash the pics from Peepshow and say she looked a mess. This girl has a hot bod and if that’s what fat and ugly looks like, it’ll take it with a side of fries and a strawberry shake. I’m waiting for Perez to post his video with his hot pink see through bra… Good times!
